Are you sure that's a cake?

My daughter saw a picture of spaghetti and meatball cupcakes and wanted me to make them as a cake. It was surprisingly easy. I baked the cake in large glass bowl and when I removed the cake from the bowl it was the perfect shape. I used scratch cream cheese icing (a bit stiffer to hold shape) then I used a cake tool to give the bowl part some grooves. I used spray food coloring to color the bowl. The noodles are hand piped (same frosting) the meatballs are Ferreo Roche candies and the sauce is strawberry freezer jam (a little thinner than store bought) the cake was "doctored" fun fetti mix. The kids went crazy! You can't tell from the picture but the spray on food coloring made the bowl look real, they were in awe when I cut through it with a knife. This was a really fun cake even though to most adults it was kind of gross.
