Babies in bloom, baby garden

Baby Garden Cake

I used a mint colored buttercream icing. I made all of the flowers with a marshmallow fondant and various flower shaped cookie cutters. I made the flowers two days in advance to allow them to dry. I used sugar candy ladybugs and bees and piped "bug trails" using black icing. I sprayed entire cake with gold luster spray. The babies on top were purchased and I used silk flowers for their beds. I used edible glitter to paint the petals of the flowers.
