Babies in bloom, baby garden

I used a mint colored buttercream icing on this baby bloom cake. I made all of the flowers with a marshmallow fondant and various flower shaped cookie cutters. I made the flowers two days in advance to allow them to dry. I used sugar candy ladybugs and bees and piped "bug trails" using black icing. I sprayed entire cake with gold luster spray. The babies on top were purchased and I used silk flowers for their beds. I used edible glitter to paint the petals of the flowers. The flowers used are gum paste daisies and roses. You'll also see little baby bottles on the sides of the cake.
