Backyardigans Cake

Backyardigans Cake

I made a marble 10in round, covered in white fondant, then I made a 6in round, cut it in half, made blue tinted fondant, and covered that. I then cut out fondant clouds, as well as used cookie cutters to make flowers in all the backyardigans primaries. I attached them with royal icing, the palm trees were fondant and sugar cookie, white candy melts and pretzels sprinkled with green sugar. The left over flowers were bent on a sponge and added to the cupcakes, and scattered throughout the cake. It was for a twin girls' first birthday, and their parents were amazed. I loved it and cant wait to do more!!
