Baseball Cake
To make this birthday cake for my grandson,I started with a chocolate fudge cake mix.I added extra chocolate chips,Because he LOVES chocolate.I then filled the 9x13 cake with chocolate buttercream,of course,haha..It was covered in chocolate buttercream then covered in green fondant.The 'diamond' was done in brown sugar with fondant bases.To add to the love,I made a grandstand out of cardboard and cut out photos of all our family,including the dog,to cheer him on.His little sister is even doing a jumping cheer!I cut a photo of him up to bat and his whole baseball team was on the front.He loved the cake,didnt want to cut it until I told him it was his favourite,chocolate.
