Computer cake - how to make it?

Hello!

Great website!
I'm planning to make a computer cake for my husband but Ia m having problem finding how to make it. Especially the monitor...I would prefer to make a PC not notebook..so the monitor should stand by itself.

My ideas are to stick it to some cardboard...or use sticks in the dough.

Do you have any ideas???

i made a computer cake and it turned out great, my friend cut a piece of sheet metel and bent it to the shape of a laptop, it worked perfectly..good luck

2 week away is my boyfriend birthday he turning 23 he love's computers I figured that i put a monitor,keybored and a mouse ues lickarish for the cords This how I'll do it I will bake one big cake and cut out the pices that dont neede to be there icing it up and put my finshing details

make a few cakes cut into a square and put icing between them then use a bread pan for the back of the computer then frost it after you put it all together and then make a new cake for then keyboard and use scraps for the mouse. hopes this works good luck.
