dry cake

My yellow cake is pretty moist but my chocolate cake is dry. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Powder cocoa makes it dry. You colud make some syrup or fudge to fix it.

hi there are many reasons for a dry cake....it starts at the beginning with putting the batter together all the way to baking it.

temp to bake? 325 don't over bake it by using high temps.....

oil's used in cake? mix of butter and veg oil or add sour cream to it....
