Scarecrow and pumpkin cake design
To make this fall harvest cake, I used a 10" and a 6" pan and made an applesauce spice cake. I then iced them in buttercream icing (cream cheese would have been great too). I used tip #3 to put a beaded edge between the two layers. I made the pumpkins out of fondant and made the creases in them by pressing a round toothpick down the edge. I then used a whole clove as the stem. The haystack was made from a cupcake turned upside down and iced with the Wilton Grass tip. Finally, I used silk flowers for the border around the bottom and put a scarecrow pick in the top. Super easy!
