Fuller cupcakes

I thought you could add meringue powder to your batter so your cupcakes would be a nice height.
My question is how do I make cupcakes big and beautiful? I tend to get flatter cupcakes and that's not pretty.

Use more batter? :) You might not be using enough batter in each.
Also what is your altitude? You might have to adjust baking/recipes accordingly.

Meringue powder is suppose to act like egg whites. It really isn't all that worthwhile.
