Each pumpkin tier was made with 4 cake layers. Carved by hand into spheres and grooves added. The hat was 3 tiers all hand carved and covered with fondant. All fondant started white and airbrush color was added in layers to achieve the right colors. The pumpkin eyes were hand painted. The pumpkin faces were sculpted using my thumbs and fingers. The ghosts and candy corn were hand made and airbrushed with hand-painted accents. The hat brim is the only non-edible part. It is a fondant covered cake board, distressed and airbrushed to match hat. Licorice laces and spider on hat.The cake was approx 2.5 ft. tall.
