Golf Bag

This thing was huge!!! When my friend and I were talking about what kind of cake I would make for her husbands suprise party, I knew right away I wanted to try this. The cake was white almond with white buttercream icing. I stacked approximately 6-8, 8 inch cakes between 2, 8 inch cake dummies. The fondant was put on in pieces because there was no way I could put it on in one piece! The 3 drivers were made of gumpaste, sprayed with silver and stuck on top of extra long dowel rods which went through the entire cake for support. On one side of the bag was a pocket with a towel hanging out with the birthday boy's initial on it. There was a pocket with a zipper on the other side. Golf balls were made of white chocolate. My wonderful husband made the stand for me. It was very sturdy which was great because transporting that cake was scary!!!
