Halo Cake

Halo cake 2 Tiers
Top cake is a eggless chocolate cake covered in fondant icing. I painted the colour gel on to give the streaky metal effect. The Halo 2 logo I made out of royal icing & painted blue with silver lustre dust streaks.
The rope band is two toned royal icing piped.
The bottom cake is a pineapple cake covered with buttercream icing coloured blue on top & grey on the sides. I used the clear plastic columns (4) to give the space effect. Decorating & writing was done in royal icing. My 14 year old was stoked.
