Happy Fall Yall!

This Happy Fall Y'all cake was inspired by all those cute crafty little wooden scarecrows people put in their front yards.

His body is made with the Wilton Wonder Mold Pan, his legs are carved from a 7" square cake, his head is molded rice krispie treats and his arms are fondant supported with a wooden dowel.
He is covered and decorated with marshmallow fondant. I hand painted him with a mixture of food coloring and vodka to give him that rustic dirty look. The sign is a fondant-covered piece of cardboard. He was so much fun to make, I almost didn’t want to cut him, but I really wanted a piece of cake!
