Happy Fishing

I made this for my brothers 50th. He is a keen fisherman. I used standard buttercake mixes in a 13x9 cake tin and 2in deep. And for the boat I used a square tin and cut the boat out and placed on top. You may use any size you want. I used fondant icing and made the fisherman, oars motor and the shark. Add anything you like depending on your size. I made his lovable dog and her pups she just had, he takes her fishing in the boat. I iced the bottom cake first with buttercream then added the boat made the white water around the boat after with butter cream. to get this effect i used a clean paint brush 1/2 inch wide and made the icing swirling (dip it in hot water to keep the icing soft and workable. This one was a hit ............he loved it. (ciggy hanging from his mouth)
