Making a cake look like an open box

I am making a cake to look like a regular brown delivery box. The trouble is making the flaps on the box. I need to have the box open and clothes spilling out of it. It's for a friend who works in the stock room of our clothing store. She has been emptying these boxes for ten years so I wanted to make a cake for her that looks like one of the boxes she sees everyday. I want to make it look real but I have no idea how to make the flaps hang off the cake. Any ideas?
