3 T. white flour
1 C. whole milk
1/2 C. solid shortening
1/2 C. butter, softened
1 C. white sugar
1t. pure vanilla
Cook milk and flour until very thick. Cover and refrigerate until cold. Using an electric mixer, cream shortening, butter and sugar until well creamed. Add vanilla and chilled flour/milk mixture. Beat until light and fluffy.
