Pink Mothers Day Cake
I had a lot of fun trying something new for my mom for Mother's Day. I had never used rolled fondant before and thought I'd give that a try and tried making a few roses too. They turned out rather well I thought for my first attempt at fondant. The main thing was that my mom loved it!
The roses are yellow and surrounded by green leaves. The ribbon on the bottom was made by rolling out fondant and cutting along the edge with the ribbon cutter with the wavy edge. Just attach it to the cake with a bit of water.
