You can Celebrate anything with a cupcake!
These cupcakes were for a huge event!
I underestimated how much work this would be! But, on how I loved them in the end!
I hope you will too!
First thing I did was to cutout and create, out of fondant,the daisies. I put the centers(also made from fondant, on each flower with piping gel. Set them aside and let them dry. There were two sizes of daisies. I made a bunch of iddy biddy ones for the fronts of the cupcakes! **GREAT TIP I LEARNED FOR PHOTOS!
Then made lots and lots of cupcakes!
The white cupcakes had white icing and the chocolate ones had black icing! All cupcakes were iced with butter cream and smoothed with water on a spatula to look like fondant. I did that because the top 6" cake was covered with fondant.
All were decorated with #3 and #4 tips. Each one got more and more unique as the time went on!
After all the swirls were piped I stuck the daises on with butter cream
Black and white sure can make a statement!!
