Picnic Cupcakes

These cupcakes were decorated by spreading a coating of buttercream over each cupcake and then placing a square of fondant "draped" over cupcake to look like a table cloth. The "table cloth" was painted w/ food color to get the checked pattern. A small sandwich was made by "sandwiching" (lol) two pieces of white fondant w/ a piece of lt. brown and red fondant between (peanut butter and jelly) and then cutting into triangles. The ants were piped on with black buttercream.
