Polka dot Birthday Cake

Polka dot Birthday Cake I made a buttermilk cake with buttercream frosting. Using food coloring and some of the buttercream frosting I created polka dots all over this cute birthday cake. I used the end of a turkey baster to make impressions of circles on the side of the cake before I filled each one individually with different colored frosting. I wrote Happy Birthday on top of the cake with the same frosting used for the polka dots.
