Ratatouille Cake

I bought two frozen store bought cheesecakes and stacked them. I cut out a wedge to look like a cheese wheel. I then returned them to the freezer.

I then put a 1 lb. bag of white Wilton candy wafers in a bowl and microwaves it in increments of 1 minute until it was melted and smooth. To this I added yellow candy wafers until the mixture was the color of swiss cheese. It took about six. I then added 1/3 cup white corn syrup to the mixture and mixed it until it formed a ball of white chocolate clay. I rolled the mixture out to 1/8 of a inch thick and cut holes with a plastic straw and a small round glass to mimic swiss cheese.

I took the frozen cheesecake out and draped the clay over it and cut around the bottom edge.
I then repeated the clay process and made slices of cheese and put it around the base.

I put the figures on top and returned it to the freezer. I took it out one hour before serving.

Cheesehead
by: Julie

Thank You - Thank You - Thank You,

I've been trying to come up with an idea for my 24 year old dauhter's going away party. She's moving from Indiana to Wisconsin and I'm having a "cheesehead" themed party for her and couldn't find a swiss cheese cake mold, but now I don't need one - what a great idea!

It fooled me!
by: Anonymous

I came home from college at 2:00 am and searched the fridge for some food. I saw the cheese tray and knew mom was having my brother's party the next day, so I didn't touch it. Then it dawned on me it was the cake for my brother.
