how do I make a heart shaped cake if I cannot get a heart shaped cake pan?

To make a heart shaped cake w/o a pan...bake one square and one round. cut the round in half, and place each half on 2 opposings side of the square...you will have made a heart.

Heart shape cake w/o pan

Cut a template from parchment paper (fold your parchment paper, and cut the heart like you did when you were in grade school), lay it over a sheet cake and carve it.
