Strawberry-Laced Birthday Cake

Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Icing I used a recipe I found on the back of a Softasilk cake flour box. It was called Raspberry-Laced Vanilla cake with raspberry cream frosting. I changed it to strawberry though because the birthday girl requested strawberry. I made the cake by following the recipe with the substitution and then added my own touch. Using a icing knife I made the top swirly and then using a decorating triangle created the horizontal lines on the side. I used a piping bag and tip to create the dots. I also cut fresh strawberries in half and then added them around the bottom of the cake. Oh, and one on the top also.
