Sugar Lillies and Roses
I made this Sugar Lily Wedding Cake for an October 07 Texas wedding. The cakes are all vanilla cakes with vanilla buttercream - made just the way bride liked it.
The stacked cakes were then piped freehand and fondant pearls, dusted with antique silk lustre dust applied in the center of the piped design one each tier.
A shell border finishes the base of each cake and handmade sugar lilies and roses were added.
