I used blue gel on top of the water. For extra effect I added a few extra drops of food coloring and swirled it in only once or twice.

Pool Party

I baked a 16" square Chocolate Fudge cake. I turned it out on a board and let it cool. I crumb-coated in "pool" blue and final coated in "pool" blue almond buttercream frosting. I added the "wooden deck" around the pool and added the decor of Teddy Grahams, gummy rings, frosting towels and umbrellas. It was a great hit at the HOA pool party.

I made this cake for a co-worker. Her son loved swimming and I saw a few in a magazine and got the idea to do this. The water is made of blue jello and I did the people in teddy graham cookies and just added a few different kinds of candy for the kids to eat. It was fun to .
