Turning 50 Blues!

THE WONDERFUL BLUES!

These cupcakes were quite fun to create!

Half were made with chocolate cake, and half with what I call Wedding White.

These were actually made for a 50th Surprise Birthday!

All us women turning 50 should welcome it in with this kind of "Blues"!!

Each cupcake was decorated with one of two tips. The smooth blue icing, with tip number 12 and the white ones were decorated with tip number 2D.

All are buttercream.
THE DAISIES, SMALL & LARGE, ARE CUT OUT OF FONDANT A FEW DAYS PRIOR TO THE PARTY.
These are very simple to make with a fondant flower cutter. They are also a very fast flower to make!

I added the tiny ribbon bows using piping gel. They were nice, due to the fact that some photos are taken looking at the side and not the top of a cupcake!
