Turtle Pie Wedding Cake
The couple ask me to make a wedding cake that tasted like their favorite dessert, Turtle Pie. I started with a 8,10,and 12 inch butter pecan cake. The filling was a chocolate buttercream mixed with crushed Teddy Grahams. This made it a little crunchy. I covered it in buttercream icing. Then I topped it with a layer of whipped cream. Next, it was topped with pecans and the whipped cream decoration was added. Last I drizzled the cake with chocolate and caramel sauce. It was delicious!
