Under The Sea decorations directions

Thank you...

For the small shells and the sea horse I used chocolate plastic molds. For the big half shells w/ a pearl on it, i used a big round cookie cutter, then just trim off one end using a small knife to shape it like it suppose to look, then on one side I used a toothpick to make the indentation or the lines.. The fishes were the ones that took a lot of time. I made a template out of a plastic lid (1/2 gallon lid like that of Whipped Topping container) , then I used that template to cut the rolled out fondant. Then I used a big round tip (for icing) to give the texture looking like scales. I then brush dry edible luster dust of different colors: pink, blue, copper, gold and bronze. For the fish "stands", it was just a pc. of white fondant that I pinched off from a huge pc. then poked them and dusted with blue luster dust. All the decorations were made at least 10 days so they set and get really sturdy. FOndant never go bad, they just harden. For the green grass, I just rolled out green fondant and cut with a knife. No molds or templates used. For the huge Pearls they were balls of white fondant then dusted w/ Pearl Luster dust.
