Wackadoo Zoo

My daughter had a school play called the Wackadoo Zoo. I had signed up to make a "treat." So I decided to make cupcakes with all of the animals in the play. I frosted all of the cupcakes with plain white buttercream frosting. Lions - my personal favorite - I made a circle of yellow buttercream using a #12 tip. Then I used orange buttercream with tip #233(normally used for making grass). Ears were made with the #12 again. Mini chocolate chips were the eyes on all the animals. Pigs were strictly piped with #12, pulling away the tip to make the ears a bit pointy. Monkeys were a large piped brown #12 circle with a tan smaller circle in the center. Cows were a piped #12 white oval, then I used a writing tip #3 with black to pipe small cow spots. The goats were similar to the cows oinly done in grey. I then used my daughter's favorite color, purple, to pipe with #12 each individual letter of Wackadoo Zoo.
