Waterfall Cake

I just made a standard 3 tiered cake and then I covered them in fondant and I painted a "waterfall" down the center with blue food paste. Then I painted the rest green. I used fondant cutters to make 3 diffrent shapes of leaves in 3 diffrent shades of green. I used luster dust in shades of green to give this cake a little dimension as well as dried some of the leaves with their tips curved. Then I used clear piping gel and covered the waterfall. Using clear gave the cake depth. I found some clay molds in different animal shapes and used powder sugar to dust the molds. I just went crazy with the animals even making a snake to wrap around the candle. My son LOVED this cake and still talks about it 3 years later :)
