watermelon cake

Summer Fun Watermelon Cake I found this in a magazine and thought it would be fun. It's a white cake colored pink with mini chocolate chips (I was out of mini's so I chopped up some regular chocolate chips in the food processor for a couple of seconds). Add a thick layer of white buttercream, I used Swiss buttercream, but a thicker one would work better. Add a layer of green fondant, and hand draw green strips with an edible marker. Fun for that summer get together.
