Black and White Cupcake Wedding |
All cupcakes are the jumbo size buttercream iced and piped. Cupcakes are so so cute to do for a wedding, but very time consuming! |

Two Hearts Wedding Cupcake Tree |
I could not find a cupcake tree that I liked so I made one. It had electric candles with burgundy butterfly candle holders. As she wanted chocolate and white cakes, I decided to make white cakes with ivory fondant and chocolate cakes with burgundy fondant. The cakes were iced with buttercream then wrapped in fondant. I always make my own fondant as it tastes really good. I make home made cakes if time warrants. If not, I use a mix with pudding. If I cannot find that, I will add a box of instant pudding to a cake mix. She emailed me a picture of her and her bridesmaids gowns. Both had a black sash with a black rose bow on them. I found the rose bow and purchased black ribbon to go around the base of the top cakes. The heart cakes on top were baked in Wilton 6 inch and 8 inch heart shaped pans. The "cupcakes" were baked in a retired Wilton pan and they were 3 inches each. I also made the cake topper. |
